  Mike McHugh’s not only my insurance agent . . . he’s also my dad. Let me share a quick anecdote about the level of customer service at McHugh Insurance Agency. About a year ago, a unit in my coworker’s apartment building had a fire, which caused a flood in his apartment. The coworker recently moved to Chicago from Wisconsin, and when he filed the claim, the agent (NOT McHugh Ins. Agency) said that my coworker’s address change paperwork had been lost and his claim would be denied. Mike gave detailed instructions on a multifaceted approach to go about addressing this situation, despite the fact that the person was not a client. My coworker followed Mike's advice, filing a complaint with the Wisconsin Department of Insurance and informing his agent (again, NOT McHugh Insurance Agency) that he had done so. Shortly thereafter, his claim was processed and he received full payment for all damages to his apartment. Mike genuinely cares about his customers, is very knowledgeable about all types of insurance, and is great to work with. Thank you, Mike, for your consistently sound insurance advice and for simplifying an otherwise complicated process.
